After a string of six wins, St. John Bosco Academy's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took a 80-68 hit to the loss column at the hands of Old Suwanee Christian. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their last game last Friday (63), St. John Bosco Academy still had to take the loss.
Old Suwanee Christian got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Amari Chatman out in front who scored 27 points along with eight rebounds and six assists. Another player making a difference was Jon Rojas, who scored 23 points along with six rebounds and three steals.
St. John Bosco Academy's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-6. As for Old Suwanee Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. John Bosco Academy will take on Georgia Force Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Old Suwanee Christian, they the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Sugar Hill Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on January 19th.
