The Zion Chapel Rebels will head out on the road to take on the Baker Gators at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Zion Chapel turned things around against Pike Liberal Arts on Friday. They strolled past the Patriots with points to spare, taking the game 36-20. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Rebels considering their six-point performance the contest before.

John Foster Hamm had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 171 yards and one TD. Zion Chapel is undefeated when Foster Hamm posts 80 or more rushing yards, but 0-3 otherwise. Jerimiah Stinson helped out on the ground, rushing for 109 yards.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Zion Chapel was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 470 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.
Zion Chapel didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. Gunnar Jacobs and Stinson each grabbed an interception.
Meanwhile, on Friday Baker's undefeated season almost came to an end. They had just enough and edged out Northview 22-19. The 22-point effort marked the Gators' lowest-scoring matchup of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.
Baker's win came from a few key players Zion Chapel will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Wyatt Straight, who rushed for 132 yards and a pair of touchdowns while picking up 7.8 yards per carry. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, forcing one fumble, making nine total tackles (1.0 for loss), and defending one pass. Justice Baldwin also helped out as he racked up 117 rushing yards.
One reason for the win was Baker's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for six sacks. That dominant display was truly a team effort as six different players picked up one apiece.
The victory got Zion Chapel back to even at 3-3. As for Baker, their record is now 7-0.
Friday's game might be decided on the ground. Zion Chapel has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 255.2 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Baker struggles in that department as they've been averaging 197.4 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's contest turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Zion Chapel won a matchup that couldn't have been any closer in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, slipping by Baker 21-20. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rebels since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
