Meanwhile, Apex unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Monday. They and Apex Friendship finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw. The result (or lack thereof) was the first time Apex have been dealt a draw since back in March.
Emily Degnan was the only thing that stood between Apex and a shutout considering she scored both of Apex's goals, bringing her season total up to 18 goals.
Apex's draw gives them a new season record of 9-3-3. As for Middle Creek, their victory bumped their record up to 5-12.
