Baseball Recap: Conwell-Egan Catholic Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Conwell-Egan Catholic got themselves on the board against Interboro on Saturday, but Interboro never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Buccaneers with a sharp 10-0 victory. The win was familiar territory for the Eagles, who have now won four contests in a row.

Jake Mclain made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (three). He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI.

Back at the plate, Brady Guzzie was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, two doubles, and one triple. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March. Dan Fritag was another key player, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.
