Franklin won against Ida B. Wells on Friday with 14 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Tuesday. The Quakers were the clear victors by a 14-4 margin over the McDaniel Mountain Lions. The Quakers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by six runs or more this season.

The win made it two in a row for Franklin and bumps their season record up to 8-12-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.0 runs over those games. As for McDaniel, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-13 record this season.

Franklin wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 6-2 win against Cleveland on the 14th. As for McDaniel, they have also already played their next contest, a 12-4 loss against Roosevelt on the 14th.
