Meanwhile, North Eugene waltzed into their matchup Tuesday with four straight wins but they left with five. They were the clear victor by a 70-47 margin over Willamette. Given North Eugene's advantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 20th, while Willamette is ranked 220th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
North Eugene's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Joey Banry, who scored 20 points along with six assists.
