After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Silver Valley, the San Jacinto Valley Academy Wolves were happy to have found some success on Tuesday. They took their match at home with ease, bagging a 64-11 win over West Shores. With that win, San Jacinto Valley Academy brought their scoring average up to 53.2 points per game.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead San Jacinto Valley Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Alexander Meza, who scored 6 points along with 10 steals and 6 assists. Meza is absolutely dominating the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Reon Terakubo was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with 5 assists.
The victory got San Jacinto Valley Academy back to even at 2-2. As for West Shores, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. San Jacinto Valley Academy will take on San Jacinto Leadership Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully San Jacinto Leadership Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up seven on Monday. West Shores will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Entrepreneur at 5:30 p.m. on November 30th. Entrepreneur comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
