South Charlotte T was dealt a 74-20 loss at the hands of Legion Collegiate Academy. South Charlotte T was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 39-14.
Emma Reeves was South Charlotte T's leading scorer, having posted five points.
Ryleigh Graves held things down on the boards with eight rebounds.
Bailey Luke took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with two assists.
Legion Collegiate Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Amelia Williams, who scored 20 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaylen McMurray, who scored 18 points along with eight steals and five rebounds.
This is the second loss in a row for South Charlotte T and nudges their season record down to 7-17. As for Legion Collegiate Academy, their win bumped their record up to 9-13.
South Charlotte T does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Legion Collegiate Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against 1 of 1 Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Legion Collegiate Academy will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in their respective state's rankings (they are ranked 107th in South Carolina, while 1 of 1 Academy is ranked 25th in North Carolina).
