 At the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Madison Sauni, who  fired off two  home runs, six  RBI,  and three  runs while going 3-for-3. Those  two  home runs gave  her a new career-high.  Briley Pinks was another key player,  going 2-for-3 with one  home run and two  RBI.
 Hamilton  hit smart and  finished the game with only two  strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters  in four consecutive  contests.
Hamilton is  on a roll lately: they've  won 11 of their last 13 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-7-1 record  this season. Those  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.6 runs on average over those games. As for Corona del Sol,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 13-10.
 Coincidentally, Hamilton and Corona del Sol will both be playing Desert Vista the next time they take the field. The Huskies will head out to face the Thunder at 3:45  p.m.  on Wednesday, while the Aztecs will  host them  at 3:45  p.m.  on Thursday.
