Even though the Foxcroft None have not done well against the Highland Hawks recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Foxcroft strolled past the Hawks with points to spare, taking the game 32-17. The win made it back-to-back wins for Foxcroft.
Foxcroft got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Sarah Ford out in front who scored ten points. Another player making a difference was Tashae' Allen, who scored ten points.
The win got Foxcroft back to even at 5-5. As for Highland, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-5.
Foxcroft's homestand continues as they prepare to take on the Chargers at 5:00 p.m. on February 5th. Oakcrest is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak. Highland is on the road again on Monday and plays the Warriors at 4:30 p.m. on February 5th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Virginia (St. Michael the Archangel is ranked 257th, while the Hawks are ranked 238th).
