The Atlantic Collegiate Academy Armada can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent contest on Saturday. They put the hurt on San Jose Prep with a sharp 78-54 victory. Winning may never get old, but Atlantic Collegiate Academy sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Atlantic Collegiate Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jamie Brooks, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 11 rebounds. Brooks is absolutely dominating the rebound category: he's posted at least eight every time he's taken the court this season. Sam Medalie was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 15 points and 11 assists.
Atlantic Collegiate Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 games, which provided a nice bump to their 19-2 record this season. As for San Jose Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-8.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Atlantic Collegiate Academy will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Governor's School for Science & Math at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
