Two dominant guards in Taliah Cornish and Kaytlin Arnold are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Jackson Jaguars will be staying on the road on Monday to face off against the Cartersville Hurricanes at 1:00 p.m. on December 18th. Jackson knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past four matchups -- so hopefully Cartersville likes a good challenge.
Jackson scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They blew past Banneker, posting a 80-14 victory on the road. That looming 80-14 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Jackson yet this season.
Meanwhile, Cartersville had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Sonoraville on Tuesday and snuck past 46-43.
Among those leading the charge was Ansley Griffin, who scored 12 points along with four steals. Arnold was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Jackson's win was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-0. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 38.64 points. As for Cartersville, their victory bumped their record up to 3-5.
