Bear River made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 4,184 from 4,617. The improvement came about via a 21-0 victory over Grantsville last week.
Morgan's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Ben Saunders threw for 175 and two touchdowns and Cameron Skinner had 155 yards receiving. On the ground Lantzen Toomer chipped in 165 yards. Toomer helped Morgan's passing attack out by catching one ball for 20 yards.
Bear River's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Bears feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Kyle Zundel has thrown for 1150 yards and 13 touchdowns this season, while Colton Jensen has 32 catches for 479 yards. Zundel also leads the league in rushing with 596 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when the Cowboys take on Stansbury. Grantsville is in third place, while the Stallions are in first place.
The Trojans led the league in scoring this week after putting up 49 points on Tooele. Saunders in the win.
