Hoosier North Top Player Performances of the Week
Congratulations to this week's top players! We're covering the best performances from Friday's football action (using all statistics entered as of the time of writing). Enjoy!
Kole Wilcox Dazzles in North Judson-San Pierre Win
Kole Wilcox's big game helped extend North Judson-San Pierre's winning streak to nine on Friday. Wilcox did his part (and then some), rushing for 123 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 7.7 yards per carry, and also picking up 75 receiving yards for the 'W'. He didn't just play on offense: he also picked up a sack and made nine total tackles.
Wilcox must have Pioneer's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Wilcox saw the Panthers), he rushed for 77 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 47 receiving yards.

Jesiah Mcdaniel Delivers Best Effort of Season
On Friday, North Judson-San Pierre got the W thanks in part to Jesiah Mcdaniel playing the best football he has all season. Mcdaniel rushed for 165 yards and four touchdowns on only 14 carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
Unfortunately for Pioneer, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Mcdaniel. Mcdaniel rushed for 130 yards and three touchdowns on only nine carries, and also threw for 84 yards and a touchdown while completing 71.4% of his passes the last time he and the Panthers duked it out back in October of 2023.

Another Game with at Least 115 Rushing Yards from Micah Rans
Micah Rans's rushing tear continued on Friday as he dropped his third-straight game with 115+ rushing yards dating back to last season. He rushed for 115 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries, and also threw for 62 yards and a touchdown. Pioneer is undefeated when Rans posts 100 or more rushing yards, but 2-3 otherwise.
If the past is any indication, Rans could be in store for another big game when he takes on Caston on Friday. When Rans last faced the Comets back in September, he rushed for 136 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries, and also threw for 21 yards and a touchdown.

Ryan Meredith was instrumental in extending North Miami's winning streak to four on Friday. Meredith was dynamite, rushing for 79 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making seven total tackles (1.0 for loss) and defending two passes.
North Miami pushed their record up to 7-2 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. Meredith and North Miami will host Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
