The St. Mary's Eagles's game last Friday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Ignatius Beans 62-11 at home. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory St. Mary's has managed all season.
Among those leading the charge was Isabella Peterson, who scored 25 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Richelle Sipary, who scored ten points.
St. Mary's pushed their record up to 2-2 with that victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.2 points per game. As for Ignatius Beans, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-1.
