Watertown won the last time they faced Fort Atkinson and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Goslings put the hurt on the Blackhawks with a sharp 13-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Goslings, who have now won six games by six runs or more so far this season.

Lexi Lambert was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. Those three hits gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Breanna Meracle, who went 2-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base.

Watertown was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .414. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Fort Atkinson only posted a batting average of .059.

Watertown's victory bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Fort Atkinson, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-9.

Coming up, Watertown will welcome Oregon at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers will roll in looking for their 14th straight win, something the Goslings surely won't give up without a fight. As for Fort Atkinson, they will head out to challenge Milton at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Red Hawks have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 6.69 runs per game on average), something the Blackhawks will no doubt try to take advantage of.
