String Theory lost against the Frankford Pioneers back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. String Theory took a hard 54-40 fall against Frankford. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points String Theory has scored all season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Frankford to victory, but perhaps none more so than Zaire Washington, who scored nine points along with ten rebounds and four steals. That's the first time this season that Washington pulled down eight or more rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Doron Ross, who scored 14 points.
String Theory has not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-6 record this season. As for Frankford, their win bumped their record up to 3-7.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. String Theory has the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Science Leadership Academy at Beeber at 3:45 p.m. on January 9th. Frankford will take on Germantown Academy at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
