The Ridgeland-Hardeeville Jaguars won the last time they faced the Edisto Cougars, and things went their way on Friday too. Ridgeland-Hardeeville walked away with a 48-35 victory over Edisto. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Ridgeland-Hardeeville.
It was another big night for Jaden Exley, who scored 21 points along with four steals. That makes it eight consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Ridgeland-Hardeeville's points. Another player making a difference was Denasia Haynes, who scored eight points along with 14 rebounds and five steals.
Despite the loss, Edisto still got an impressive performance from Trinity Wade, who scored 18 points. Chyna Myers was another key contributor, scoring seven points.
The win got Ridgeland-Hardeeville back to even at 6-6. As for Edisto, they dropped their record down to 5-9 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Woodland the next time they take the court. Ridgeland-Hardeeville will head out to face Woodland at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, while Edisto will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
