Desert Top Player Performances of the Week
Congratulations to this week's top players! We're covering the best performances in games played on Thursday and Friday (using all statistics entered as of the time of writing). Enjoy!
Hawk Made His Presence Known in Calipatria's 44-24 Win
Starting off the list is Calipatria's Dominic Hawk, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Hawk rushed for 146 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 carries. His rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his sixth straight game with at least 116 rushing yards.
Hawk and Calipatria will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Holtville at 7:00 p.m. on October 31st. The Hornets had to take a loss when they last met the Vikings, but Hawk had little to do with the loss: he picked up 60 receiving yards and a touchdown. Can he match (or beat) that performance?
