After flying high against Del Norte  on Monday, Eagle Point came back down to earth. Eagle Point took  an  8-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the La Salle Falcons on Monday. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Falcons apparently hadn't forgotten their  defeat the last time these teams played  back in March of 2016.
 Eagle Point saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Sarah Estes, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-4.  Riley Jacoby also deserves some recognition as  she  brought in her first  RBI of the season.
Eagle Point's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for La Salle,  the  win  got them back to even at 1-1.
 Coming up, Eagle Point will be playing in front of their home fans against North Bend  at 8:00  a.m.  on Tuesday. As for La Salle, they will host Del Norte  at 12:00  p.m.  on Monday.
