Basketball Game Preview: Cornerstone Charter Academy Ducks vs. New Dimensions

Cornerstone Charter Academy is 6-0 against New Dimensions since December of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Cornerstone Charter Academy Ducks will be playing at home against New Dimensions at 7:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

New Dimensions is hoping to do what Elite Prep Academy couldn't on Thursday: put an end to Cornerstone Charter Academy's winning streak, which now stands at three games. Cornerstone Charter Academy came out on top against Elite Prep Academy by a score of 59-47.

It was another big night for Derick Augustin, who went 12 of 20 en route to 27 points along with six rebounds and three steals. The contest was his fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kingston Infante, who posted nine points in addition to five boards and five steals.

Cornerstone Charter Academy was working as a unit and finished the game with 18 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Elite Prep Academy only posted four assists.

Meanwhile, New Dimensions was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Monday as they fell 62-57 to International Community. The game marked New Dimensions' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Cornerstone Charter Academy pushed their record up to 3-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.3 points per game. As for New Dimensions, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.

Cornerstone Charter Academy strolled past New Dimensions when the teams last played back in January of 2021 by a score of 72-53. Will Cornerstone Charter Academy repeat their success, or does New Dimensions have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
