Ravenscroft had lost four straight on the road dating back to last season, but  on Friday they dropped down to 2-5 to make it five. They had to suffer through  a    49-7 loss at the hands of the Trinity Christian Crusaders. Having soared to a lofty 43  points in the game before, the Ravens couldn't push the score so high this time.

As for Trinity Christian,  the  victory made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 5-1. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by 24  points or more this season.
  Jaden Clifton produced another solid  performance rushing for 110 yards and three  TDs on only seven carries. Those  three  rushing touchdowns gave  him a new career-high. Another rusher making a difference was  Amir Jackson, who rushed for 51 yards and a pair of  touchdowns on only five carries.
 Ravenscroft wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next  game,  a  35-20  win against Wayne Christian on the 17th. As for Trinity Christian, they have also already played their next contest,  a  14-7  victory against North Raleigh Christian Academy on the 17th.
