Cypress Creek had won four straight road games and Kidiel Maldonado did his part to make it five on Monday. The Bears were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Tohopekaliga Tigers with plenty of help from Maldonado, who had 25 assists and six digs. Maldonado is crushing it when it comes to assists: he's posted at least 13 every time he's taken the court this season.

Cypress Creek was especially dominant in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-15, 25-22.

Cypress Creek's win bumped their record up to 11-3. As for Tohopekaliga, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-9.

When Cypress Creek and Tohopekaliga next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. The Bears will try to stop Olympia's five-game winning streak when they meet at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Tohopekaliga will challenge Celebration and their three-game winning streak at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
