The Otter Valley Otters will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against the Brattleboro Bears at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Brattleboro took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Otter Valley, who comes in off a win.
Even though Mount Anthony scored an imposing 60 points on Tuesday, Otter Valley still came out on top. Otter Valley took their match against Mount Anthony 69-60.
Meanwhile, Brattleboro came up short against Mount Anthony on Thursday and fell 65-52. Brattleboro has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Johnathon Haskins put forth a good effort for the losing side as he scored 16 points along with six rebounds. The contest was his fourth in a row with at least ten points. Jackson Emery was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds.
Otter Valley now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Brattleboro, they now have a losing record at 2-3.
Otter Valley came up short against Brattleboro when the teams last played back in December of 2021, falling 51-41. Can Otter Valley avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
