This season hasn't been kind to the West Shores Wildcats, who are still winless after their 17th match. They took a 51-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of Borrego Springs on Tuesday. West Shores has not had much luck with Borrego Springs recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Brody White was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 25 points and 30 rebounds for Borrego Springs. As a matter of fact, that's the most points White has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Christopher Alcaraz, who scored ten points along with nine steals and eight assists.
West Shores' defeat was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-17. As for Borrego Springs, the win got them back to even at 8-8.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Calexico Mission the next time they take the court. Borrego Springs will host Calexico Mission at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, while West Shores will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
