Loyola College Prep came tearing into Thursday's match with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.3 goals) and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victor by a 5-1 margin over the Airline Vikings. Considering the Flyers have won nine contests by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Loyola College Prep has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-2-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 27 goals over those seven matches. As for Airline, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-4-3.

Loyola College Prep will challenge Byrd at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Byrd has won four straight at home, while Loyola College Prep won seven straight on the road), something that'll have to change. As for Airline, they will welcome Captain Shreve at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Captain Shreve will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Airline surely won't give up without a fight.
