There's no place like home for the Glynn Academy Terrors, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Saturday. They came out on top against Bryan County on Wednesday by a score of 61-55 (the very same score they lost by the week prior). With that win, Glynn Academy brought their scoring average up to 50.1 points per game.
Glynn Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Martin Davis, who scored 21 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which Davis has scored at least 25% of Glynn Academy's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Mar'kuecia Burton, who scored 15 points.
Glynn Academy's win bumped their record up to 4-7. As for Bryan County, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 9-1.
Glynn Academy and Bainbridge will round out the year against one another at 11:30 a.m. on December 28th at. Bainbridge has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Bryan County will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against Montgomery County at 3:30 p.m. on December 30th. Montgomery County will be coming into the contest with an undefeated record on the line.
