The Harrah Panthers will head out on the road to face off against the Glenpool Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Harrah will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Oklahoma Rankings (they are ranked 187th, while the Warriors are ranked eighth).
Last Tuesday, Harrah didn't have too much breathing room in their match against the Cougars, but they still walked away with a 49-45 win. The win was just what Harrah needed coming off of a 61-38 defeat in their prior contest.
Harrah's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Brenna Catrambone, who scored 11 points along with three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Allison Price, who scored 13 points.
Meanwhile, Glenpool waltzed into their match on Saturday with five straight wins but they left with six. They strolled past Ardmore with points to spare, taking the game 72-54. 72 seems to be a good number for Glenpool as the team scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.
Aaliyah Shawnee continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 30 points along with six rebounds and six steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Glenpool's points. Another player making a difference was Yaya Gibson, who scored ten points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Harrah's record now sits at 11-7. As for Glenpool, they pushed their record up to 17-2 with that victory, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.
