Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Unity Christian). They snuck past the Cerro Gordo/Bement Broncos with a 43-37 victory on Monday. For the Lions, this counts as revenge for the 42-17 win the Broncos walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2023.

Unity Christian has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 5-5 record this season. As for Cerro Gordo/Bement, they dropped their record down to 3-8 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Unity Christian will take on Sullivan in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Sullivan will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Unity Christian surely won't give up without a fight. Cerro Gordo/Bement and LeRoy will compete for holiday cheer at 11:00 a.m. on Monday.
