Deiondre Whiterock Drops League-Best Performance on Friday
Starting off the list is Tuba City's Deiondre Whiterock, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. On Friday Whiterock picked up 211 receiving yards and three touchdowns. The effort also marked the most rushing yards (17) he has had since back in August. He torched the secondary when he pulled down a catch that went for 70 yards.
The victory was the fifth in a row for Tuba City, bringing their record for this year to 6-2. They and Greyhills Academy are set to duel on Friday.

Justman Made His Presence Known in Holbrook's 61-0 Win
Holbrook picked up their fifth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Darren Justman. Nobody could stop Justman as he threw for 137 yards and three touchdowns while completing 81.8% of his passes, and also rushed for 57 yards and a touchdown on only five carries. He is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in the last three games he's played dating back to last season.
Justman is probably looking forward to his next game, a home matchup against Pinon on Friday. When Justman last faced the Eagles back in October of 2023, he threw for 216 yards and four touchdowns on only ten passes.
