The Huron Tigers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Edison Chargers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Edison took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Huron, who comes in off a win.
Huron posted their closest victory yet this season on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Monroeville 44-42. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Huron.
Meanwhile, Edison's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their fourth straight loss. The contest between Edison and Vermilion wasn't particularly close, with Edison falling 56-42.
The losing side was boosted by Ivy kluding, who scored 18 points along with five rebounds and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Ella Booth, who scored six points.
Huron's victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-10. As for Edison, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season.
Huron came up short against Edison when the teams last played back in December of 2023, falling 46-42. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of kluding, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds and six steals. Now that Huron knows the damage she can cause, will they be able to stop her this time? There's only one way to find out.
