The Council Rock North Indians lost against the Bensalem Fighting Owls back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Council Rock North fell 58-51 to Bensalem. While losing is never fun, Council Rock North can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 347th, while Bensalem is ranked 46th).
It was another big night for Jaidyn Moffitt, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and ten rebounds for Bensalem. Moffitt hasn't dropped below 15 points for ten straight games. Another player making a difference was Noah Morris, who scored 11 points.
Council Rock North's loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Bensalem, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-2 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Council Rock North will take on Council Rock South at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bensalem, they will head out on the road to take on Pennsbury at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pennsbury has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
