Woodstock North lost against Marengo on April 8th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Thunder took a 10-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Indians. The Thunder's defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Woodstock North saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kylie Stevens, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI. That RBI marked the first that Stevens has brought in this season.

Woodstock North's loss dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Marengo, they have been performing well recently as they've won 13 of their last 16 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season.

Woodstock North and Marengo should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Illinois Rankings. The Thunder will challenge Plano at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank advantage (138 vs. 390). Meanwhile, Marengo (ranked 41st) will meet Woodstock (ranked 434th) at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
