The Colorado Wolves''s five-game losing streak came to an end on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Olney and snuck past 46-43. The victory was just what Colorado needed coming off of a 48-7 loss in their prior game.
Colorado got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Mayson Monroe out in front who rushed for 153 yards and four touchdowns on only 14 carries, and also threw for 36 yards and a touchdown. Monroe's longest rush was for an incredible 70 yards. Another player making a difference was Ezik Hernandez, who rushed for 186 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.8 yards per carry.
Colorado's victory bumped their record up to 2-8. As for Olney, their defeat was their third straight on the road , which bumped their record down to 3-6.
Colorado will challenge Stamford at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Stamford focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up four on Friday. As for Olney, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Winters at 7:00 p.m.
