Perry Central fell to Purvis 48-12 last week, the largest margin of any game.
West Marion's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Josh Miller threw for 202 and 3 touchdowns and Adrian Miller had 138 yards receiving. On the ground Miller contributed 115 yards.
The Trojans' dynamic duo of Miller and Miller proved tough for Raleigh to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.
He went 11-17 with 2 interceptions.
The Bulldogs' Ashanta Bolton and Stevie Scott led 3A Region 8 in both passing and receiving yards. Bolton has thrown for 924 yards this season, while Scott has 20 catches for 565 yards. West Marion's Miller leads the league in rushing yards with 495.
The top two teams in the league will face off this week when first place Seminary takes on second place Perry Central. Last week, Seminary lost to Collins, while Perry Central fell to the Tornadoes.
Fans will be treated to a premier battle in the secondary when Todd Lowery's team's Scott goes up against the Bulldogs' Deandre Barnes.
One of the league's premier quarterbacks will face off with its top pass rusher when the Bulldogs and Seminary face off next week.
Next week's game between Perry Central and Brian Rials' team will feature an aerial matchup as Bolton tests his arm against Barnes' defensive ability.
Brad Duncan's team led 3A Region 8 in scoring this week by notching 28 points on Brad Duncan's team.
