On Friday Urbandale will take on Ames at 7:00 PM. Urbandale are expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the contest prepared for a fight.
Urbandale were able to grind out a solid win over Jefferson last Friday, winning 24-10. The success made it back-to-back wins for Urbandale.
Meanwhile, Ames came into their this week averaging 30 points per game, but Ames fell well short of that average, and it cost them. They took a serious blow against Valley, falling 0-45. Ames' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.
Urbandale's victory lifted them to 5-3 while Ames's loss dropped them down to 5-3. We'll see if Urbandale's success rolls on or if Ames are able to steal their positive momentum.
