There's no place like home for the Sunray Bobcats, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road on Saturday. They took down Tulia 52-36 on Tuesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Sunray also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2020.
Ariadna De la rosa continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 20 points along with eight rebounds. That makes it five consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Sunray's points. Carly Neeley was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 11 points and 12 rebounds.
Sunray now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Tulia, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sunray will square off against Groom at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Groom is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. Tulia will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Dalhart at 6:15 p.m. on January 5, 2024.
