The Windsor Wizards will head out to square off against the Falcon Falcons at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Windsor's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last four contests.
If Windsor beats Falcon with 11 runs on Saturday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two matches with that exact score. Windsor walked away with an 11-8 victory over D'Evelyn on Thursday. The Wizards haven't had any issues with the Jaguars recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Chris Valerio and Teegan Cole did most of the damage at the plate: Valerio scored two runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-5, while Cole scored three runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. Valerio is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last five games he's played. Ethan Fillinger also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.
Windsor always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .568. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as D'Evelyn only posted an OBP of .400.
Meanwhile, Falcon fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Ponderosa on Wednesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 9-8. The Falcons haven't had much luck with the Mustangs recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.
Falcon saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brayden Millikan, who went 1-for-2 with one home run. Blake Maestes was another, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.
Windsor pushed their record up to 6-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for Falcon, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2-1.
Falcon's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Windsor has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .541. It's a different story for Falcon, though, as they've only averaged .331. Will they be able to contain Windsor's hitters?
Windsor skirted past Falcon 2-1 in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Windsor since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
