Milton-Union is 5-0 against the Pirates since December of 2021, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. Last Saturday, Milton-Union came up short against the Polar Bears and fell 45-33.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Kate Copp, who scored nine points along with five rebounds. Jenna Brumbaugh was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with seven steals.
Meanwhile, Riverside also suffered a loss in their last game, but this one to the Buccs by a score of 45-35. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Riverside in their matchups with the Buccs: they've now lost six in a row.
Milton-Union's defeat dropped their record down to 16-5. As for Riverside, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season.
