Atascadero got a great performance from Anissa Crespin as she tossed seven innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off seven hits. Crespin has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't pitched less than five innings in three consecutive pitching appearances.
On the hitting side, Olivia Moscardi was incredible, going 2-for-4 with a home run, three RBI, and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Trisanee Siharath, who scored a run while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
Atascadero now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Cabrillo, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3.
Atascadero will take on Golden West at 11:00 a.m. on Monday. As for Cabrillo, they will be playing at home against Templeton at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
