The Camden Panthers and the Delsea Crusaders squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but sadly the Camden Panthers had to settle for second. Camden received a tough blow as they fell 28-12 to Delsea. Camden's loss signaled the end of their ten-game winning streak.
Mahki Brunson threw for 136 yards and a touchdown. Ceshaan Collins was his top target, picking up 58 receiving yards.
Camden's defeat dropped their record down to 10-2. As for Delsea, the victory (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 11-1.
Camden will be playing in front of their home fans against Eastside at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in New Jersey (Eastside is ranked 48th, while Camden is ranked 21st). Delsea will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on West Essex on November 29th. West Essex is coming into the match hot, having won their last eight games.
