Brayden Collins made a splash no matter where he played. He struck out 14 batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits. Collins was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.
In other batting news, North Valley Christian Academy got a big performance out of Jacob Bradley, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and two RBI. Daniel Schoenleb was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4.
North Valley Christian Academy's win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-9-1. As for Tempe Prep, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.
