Loyola College Prep might have lost, but man, Bryce Restovich was a machine: he threw for 403 yards and five TDs, and also punched in one score on the ground. Restovich is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in each of the last eight games he's played. Jake Black was Restovich's top target, picking up 68 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Northwood got themselves on the board against Minden on Thursday, but Minden never followed suit. They breezed past the Crimson Tide to the tune of 42-0. The result was nothing new for the Falcons, who have now won eight contests by 33 points or more so far this season.
Northwood's win came from a few key players Loyola College Prep will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Nathan Cervantes, who threw for 186 yards and a pair of TDs on only 16 passes, and also punched in two scores on the ground. Northwood was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 241 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 217 rushing yards in four consecutive matchups.
