Leading Escambia Academy to victory were Quinton Odom and Rontae Watson. Odom scored 21 points, while Watson scored 26 points. Odom is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last eight games he's played. Luke Bell was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Wilcox Academy's defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-2. As for Escambia Academy, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-2.
Wilcox Academy will head out on the road to challenge Snook Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Escambia Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Atmore Christian at 6:30 p.m. Atmore Christian is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
