It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Fouke Panthers can now relate to. They had to suffer through a rough 64-0 loss at the hands of Osceola. Fouke was already down big by the end of the third quarter and they stayed that way after failing to score in the fourth.
Osceola's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Tyler Bell led the charge by throwing for 156 yards and two touchdowns while completing 85.7% of his passes, and also punching in a rushing scores. Jeremiah Jacobs was another key contributor, rushing for 157 yards and a touchdown while picking up 8.7 yards per carry.
Fouke's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Osceola, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-8.
Fouke does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Osceola will take on Booneville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Booneville is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
