Mineral Ridge extended their winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Ava Hulett. The Mineral Ridge Rams simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat the Memorial Red Devils 60-19 thanks in part to Hulett, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 11 rebounds. She is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last seven games she's played.
Another player making a difference was Kylee Molnar, who posted four points in addition to five rebounds and three steals. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in steals.
Several Red Devils players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Mileesa Williams, who had three points and five boards.
Mineral Ridge's win bumped their record up to 18-4. As for Memorial, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-19.
Looking ahead, Mineral Ridge will take on Our Lady of the Elms in a tournament on February 15th. As for Memorial, they will head out on the road to face off against Smithville at 7:00 p.m. on February 15th.
