On Friday, Andover Central sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 52-49 victory over Manhattan.
Hayden Snodgrass was her usual excellent self, scoring 21 points along with seven rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Andover Central's points. Taylin Tabor was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Andover Central's victory bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Manhattan, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-5.
Andover Central will be playing in front of their home fans against Goddard at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Manhattan, Manhattan and Hayden will face off on February 2nd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Hayden will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.
