The Cascade Ramblers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They strolled past Horseshoe Bend with points to spare, taking the game 75-60. The victory was just what Cascade needed coming off of a 59-39 loss in their prior game.
Horseshoe Bend lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Porter Larson, who scored 20 points. Layth Bromgard was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 15 points and 13 rebounds.
Cascade is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. As for Horseshoe Bend, they dropped their record down to 8-9 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight at home.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Tri-Valley the next time they take the court. Horseshoe Bend will head out to face Tri-Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Cascade will host them at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
