Asbury Park fans better hope the squad plays one heck of a game on Thursday as the odds are decidedly against them. Their bye week comes to an end as they meet up with Neptune. Asbury Park has a defense that allows only 16.14 points per game, so Neptune's offense will have their work cut out for them.
The Bishops probably have a sour taste in their mouth after their recent playoff game against Woodbury. Asbury Park suffered a grim 42-20 defeat to Woodbury three weeks ago.
Meanwhile, Neptune came up short against Shawnee, falling 31-21.
It could have gone either way late during winning time for Asbury Park or Neptune when the two teams last met in last November, but it was Neptune snatching the 7-6 win. Maybe Asbury Park will have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check back on MaxPreps for all the details.
