Last Monday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Avon Grove Charter beat Fellowship of Christian Athletes 44-40. The victory was just what Avon Grove Charter needed coming off of a 89-51 defeat in their prior match.
Avon Grove Charter's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Kamran Masih, who scored eight points along with 16 rebounds and three steals, and Xavier London, who scored 15 points along with nine rebounds. Masih's trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. Another player making a difference was Asa Stevens-Lyons, who scored six points along with three steals.
Avon Grove Charter's victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-7. As for Fellowship of Christian Athletes, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.
Avon Grove Charter didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Fellowship of Christian Athletes when the teams last played on Monday, but they still walked away with a 44-40 win.
